THE CEO OF SBM JOINS THE FOREIGN INFORMATION DELEGATION OF BINH DUONG PROVINCE TO VISIT AND WORK WITH THE COMMAND OF NAVAL REGION 3 AND CON CO ISLAND DISTRICT.

During the days of 8-11/5/2024, SBM’s CEO Tran Thanh Trong, together with the Information Delegation of Binh Duong Province led by comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of the Standing Committee and head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, visited and encouraged the officials and soldiers of the Navy Region 3 and the people of Con Co island district, Quang Tri province.

The working delegation held a flag salute at the Monument commemorating the Martyrs who sacrificed at Con Co; visited and offered gifts to the Radar Station of the 3rd Naval Region, the Hoa Phong Ba preschool and kindergarten, along with 24 households on the island. On May 10, the delegation held a ceremony to offer incense to the Martyrs who sacrificed at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel in 1972.

Con Co is the outpost island of the Nation. The island was honored twice by Uncle Ho's commendation in 1965, and 1968 and twice awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

The purpose of the trip is to promote Binh Duong's dynamic and developing image, contribute responsibly to the country's development, and help Binh Duong gain more information and experience to excel in external relations in the future.
